The Life of William Mark Potter

Funeral services will be conducted for Mr. William Mark Potter, Age 50, at 2:00PM Saturday November 17, 2007 at David Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Gaudin officiating. Internment will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday November 16, 2007 from 2:00PM until 9:00PM and will resume on Saturday November 17, 2007 at 8:00AM until time of services. A native of Palestine, Texas and a resident of Youngsville, Mr. Potter passed away Sunday November 11, 2007 at 10:55AM in Terrebonne General Hospital. Mr. Potter was in the oilfield business for 23 years, the last 6 years with B.J. Services. Survivors include his wife: Teresa Mullens Potter of Youngsville; his mother; Jane Sapp Potter of Forest, Texas; one son; Joshua Potter of Lafayette; four daughters; Amanda Potter of Sulphur; Angela Potter Montney and her husband Kenneth of Ft. Stewart, Georgia, Amy Potter and Ashley Potter of Youngsville; two grandsons; Colby Hulin of Youngsville; Seth Montney of Ft. Stewart, Georgia; three granddaughters; Casey Hulin, Chaiyeinne LaFleur both of Youngsville and Audrey Claire Montney of Ft. Stewart, Georgia. Also surviving is his mother and father-in-law Leland "Moon" and Doris Mullens of Lake Charles. He was preceded in death by his father; William Raymond Potter and his son; Johnathan Potter. Pallbearers will be Joshua Potter, Dean Mullens, Jacques Camel, Brian Smith, George Hebert and Terry Sinegal. Honorary Pallbearers will be Employees of Chevron Oil Corporation.
