The Life of Kerry Louis Conrad
Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 17. 2006 at 2:00 PM in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille for Kerry Louis Conrad, age 71, who passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2006 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.Interment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.Reverend Lloyd F. Benoit, Associate Pastor of the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist will conduct the Funeral Services.Survivors include three sons, Mike Conrad and his wife, Dimet Guarino, Phil Conrad and his wife, Stacy Green and Jeff Conrad; a special niece, Annelle Keller and her husband, Henry Keller; his grandchildren, Grant, Jace and Brenn Conrad, Aaron and Lauren Conrad, and Madison Grace Conrad; and a great niece, Hope Keller. He is also survived by his sister and caretaker, Brenda Conrad Martin and the mother of his sons, Jeanette Delahoussaye Conrad. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis O. and Della Verret Conrad and a brother-in-law, F. Gary Martin.Mr. Conrad was a native of New Iberia and a resident of Lafayette for over fifty years. He was a 1954 graduate of St. Peter''''s College in New Iberia and attended S.L.I. Before his illness, Mr. Conrad was an avid golfer and sports enthusiast. Mr. Conrad retired in 1999 as Sales Manager of Hub City Motors after serving the company for over forty years.A Rosary will be prayed Friday at 11:00 AM in the Martin & Castille Funeral Home.The family requests that visiting hours be observed Friday from 9:00 AM until time of service.The family would like to express their gratitude to Amedisys Home Health Service, Dr. Mike Mounier, Dr. Greg Robicheaux and his staff, Dr.Patrick Welch, and to Dr. Hector Robles.Pallbearers are Jeff Conrad, Grant Conrad, Henry Keller, Donald Deshotels, Rusty Citron, and Leo Broussard.
