The Life of Anna Mae Mock

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 30, 2011 at a 12:30 PM Mass of Christian Burial in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille for Annie Mae Broussard Mock, 92, who passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at her daughter''s residence in Baton Rouge.

Interment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.

Reverend Thomas Voorhies, Pastor of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, will be the Celebrant of the funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services.

Survivors include two daughters, Belinda Bearb and Beatrice Andrus; two sisters, Grace Conques and Norma Segura; and three grandchildren, Kristy Andrus, Lance Mock and Brandon Mock.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie J. and Anaise Comeaux Broussard; one son, George Mock, Jr.; one brother, Louis Broussard; and three sisters, Ruby Dartez, Hazel Verot and Connie Stone.

A native of Lafayette, Louisiana and resident of Baton Rouge for over 70 years, Mrs. Mock was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew her. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Pallbearers will be Ronald Dartez, Mackie Verot, Jeff Bergeron, James Street, Lance Mock and Brandon Mock. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gary Andrus, David Bearb and Steven Ricks.

The family requests that visitation be observed on Monday, May 30, 2011 from 9:00 AM until time of services at Martin & Castille''s DOWNTOWN Location.

The family would like to give special thanks to the nurses and staff of Hospice Associates for their kindness, compassion and gentle care given to Mrs. Mock during her time of need.
