The Life of Katherine Dolores Anzalone
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Dolores M. Anzalone, 78, who passed away on August 16, 2010 at her residence.
Reverend Louis Richard, Pastor of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, will conduct the funeral services.
Burial will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Anzalone, a resident of Broussard, LA, was the daughter of the late Arthur Camille Morrison and the former Sally Ryder. She was a former school teacher and a mother to all.
She is survived by one daughter, Mary Katherine Clack of Lafayette; four sons, Joseph Charles Anzalone, Jr. of Broussard, Louis Michael Anzalone of Youngsville, Mark Anthony Anzalone of Lafayette, and John David Anzalone of Glencoe, OK; 18 grandchildren, Joseph Charles Anzalone II, Justin Cain Anzalone, Jenci Catherine Anzalone, Lauren Anzalone Alexander, Louis Michael Anzalone II, Braxton Lee Anzalone, Matthew Charles Anzalone, Tyler Joseph Thibodeaux, Mark Anthony Anzalone II, Austin James Anzalone, Jasper Foster, Fallon Anzalone, Kylie Anzalone, Kelsea Renee Anzalone, John David Anzalone II, Grace Kathryne Anzalone, Lilyonn Zada Anzalone, and Katherine (Katie) Elizabeth Clack as well as one brother, Dave Brown of Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph Charles Anzalone, Sr.; one son, Charles Morrison Anzalone; one sister, Florence Pearson; one brother, AC Morrison, Jr.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home of Lafayette on Tuesday from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm and will continue on Wednesday from 8:00 am until service time.
Pallbearers will be Joseph Charles Anzalone II, Louis Michael Anzalone II, Braxton Lee Anzalone, Tyler Joseph Thibodeaux, Mark Anthony Anzalone II, and James Hinson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Justin Cain Anzalone, John David Anzalone II, Al Pearson, Austin James Anzalone, Matthew Charles Anzalone, and Jasper Foster.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to National Federation of the Blind, 200 East Wells Street, Baltimore, Maryland 21230.
