The Life of Antoinette A Broussard
Funeral Services will be held at a 2:00 pm Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Antoinette Broussard, 92, who passed away on May 25, 2009 at River Oaks Retirment Manor.
Msgr. J. Douglas Courville, Pastor of St. Martin de Tours Church , will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services.
Interment will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Broussard, a resident of Lafayette, LA, was the daughter of the late Joseph Adorato of Palermo, Sicily and the former Stella Garbo of Cefalu, Sicily. She was a member of St. Jules Church. She was a parishoner of St. Jules Catholic Church. She was a member of various organizations such as The Woodmen of the World Lodge 982, International Good Neighbor Council (Acadiana Chapter), AARP Chapter 717, Les Amis Du Codofil, Golden Age Club, and the Retired Senior Volunteer Program.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Leonard "Lee" Broussard.
She was preceded in death by her parents; five sisters; one brother.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Tuesday, May 26, 2009 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and will continue on Wednesday at 11:00 am until service time.
A Rosary will be Recited at 7:00 pm at Delhomme Funeral Home of Lafayette.
Pallbearers will be John M. Broussard , Floyd Courvelle, Mike Hamner and Lascom Murphey.
Delhomme Funeral Home, 1011 Bertrand Drive, Lafayette, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
