The Life of Judith LeJeune

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2008, at a 2:00 PM Service in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille for Judith "Judy" G. LeJeune, the former Judith Gomila, age 56, who passed away Saturday, December 20, 2008 at her residence in Lafayette.The Reverend Morgan Allen, Rector of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, will conduct the memorial services.  Karen Broussard, organist, will sing for the service, "Ave Maria", "Amazing Grace", and  "You''ll Never Walk Alone".     Survivors include her former husband, Brice LeJeune; two daughters, Elizabeth LeJeune and Yvonne Matthews and her husband, Roger Matthews; one grandson, Roger Amet Matthews, Jr.; one brother, Torrey Gomila; one sister, Missa Sutton and her aunt, Jean Dawson.She was preceded in death by her parents L. Torrey Gomila and the former, Georgia Joyce, and two brothers, Ronald Lee and Gary Joyce. Judy was born in Flint, Michigan, raised in New Orleans, Louisiana and a resident of Lafayette, Louisiana for over thirty years.She was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to all and will be dearly missed. Judy was a cherished friend to many, who would always offer her honest advice to friends in need of a heartfelt opinion.  The family request that visitation be observed on Friday, December 26, 2008 from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM and Saturday, December 27, 2008 from 10:00 AM until time of the Memorial Service.Memorial contributions may be made in Ms. LeJeune''s name to her family for the future and present  Grandchildren''s College Fund, 109 Bob White Loop, Lafayette, Louisiana 70508.Martin & Castille-Lafayette, 337-234-2311
