The Life of Maurice C Duet
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 18, 2006 at 10:00 am in the Delhomme Maurice Chapel for Maurice Clement Duet, 79, who passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2006 at his residence.
Reverend O. Joseph Breaux, Pastor of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church will conduct the funeral services.
Interment will take place at Lafayette Memorial Park.
Mr. Duet, a native of Maurice, was the son of the late Maurice R. Duet and the former Daisy Eymard both of Cut Off, LA.
Survivors include his wife, Maggie M. Duet of Lafayette; two daughters, Christina Duet of Dallas, TX, and Julia Duet of Detroit, MI; two sons, James Duet of Larose, LA, and Duke Duet of Houston, TX; one step son, Francisco Daniel Maella; six grandchildren, Christopher, Elizabeth, Maurice, Patty, Leslie, and Emily; and one sister, Jenny Duet.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters; and three brothers.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed Friday from 11:00 am until 9:00 pm and continue Saturday from 8:00 am until time of service.
Delhomme Funeral Home, 200 Chief H. Fred Avenue, Maurice is in charge of all funeral arrangements.
