The Life of Oline Hebert

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, June 29, 2006 in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Oline Dejean Hebert, 80, who died Monday, June 26, 2006 at Lafayette General Medical Center. Rev. Robie Robichaux, JCL, Pastor of St. Mary Church, will officiate. Interment will be held at Lafayette Memorial Park. Mrs. Hebert was the daughter of the late Husville Dejean and the former Isabelle Champagne. She retired from Northside High School Cafeteria and Amelia Manor. Survivors include two daughters, Yvonne Sonnier of Breaux Bridge, LA, and Lynnette Trahan of Broussard, LA; two sons, Kenneth Hebert of Winnfield, LA, and Dean Hebert of Breaux Bridge, LA; two sisters, Sybil Romero of Lafayette, LA, and Clara Girouard of Youngsville, LA; three brothers, Howard Dejean of Carencro, LA, Wilbert Dejean of Arkansas, and John Champagne of Lafayette, LA; fourteen grandchildren; twenty three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Weston Hebert; grandson, Kenneth Hebert, Jr.; sister, Odette Latiolais; and brothers, Chris Dejean, and Aubry Dejean. Visiting hours will be observed Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM and will continue Thursday from 8:00 AM until the time of services. A rosary will be recited Wednesday at 7:00 PM. Pallbearers will include Erick Hebert, Scotty Hebert, Ronnie Patin, David Estes, John Erick Rowell, and Jason Trahan. Delhomme Funeral Home, 1011 Bertrand Drive, is in charge of all funeral arrangements.
