The Life of Stella Broussard
Funeral Services will be held at a 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, March 26, 2011 in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Stella Broussard, 96, who passed away on March 23, 2011 at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Burial will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Broussard, a resident of Lafayette, LA, was the daughter of the late Leonard Stoutes of Youngsville, Louisiana and the former Elmira Landry of Broussard, Louisiana.
She is survived by one daughter, Delores Mosing and her husband Larry of Lafayette; one son, Russell Broussard and his wife Jeanelle of Lafayette; six grandchildren, Lori Thomas, Kirkland Mosing and his wife Jennifer, Kendell Mosing and his wife Charmaine, Kevin Broussard, Mark Broussard and his wife Ginger, Marie Rosenbaum and her husband Jerry; thirteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Euel Broussard; four sisters and one brother.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home of Lafayette on Saturday from 8:00 am until time of services.
Pallbearers will be Kendell Mosing, Kirkland Mosing, Bryston Thomas, Kevin Broussard, Jeremy Broussard, and Jerry Riche'.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Magnolia Estates Nursing Home and to the doctors and staff of Hospice of Acadiana for their care for Mrs. Broussard during her time of need.
