The Life of Mary Yvonne Thaxton
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at New Life Church for Mary Yvonne Thaxton, 80, who passed away on November 15, 2011 at 2:35 am at Maison Du Monde Living Center.
Reverend Thomas Lane Payne, Jr., Pastor of New Life Church in Abbeville, LA, will conduct the funeral services.
Mrs. Thaxton, a resident of Youngsville, LA, was the daughter of the late Maurice Connor and the former Bertha Lachaussee.
She is survived by one daughter, Donna Thaxton of Arizona; two sons, Richard Thaxton of New Iberia, LA and Keith Thaxton of New Iberia, LA; granddaughters, Tamera Jankowski of California and Dawn Holcomb.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Henry Don Thaxton; three sisters, Edna Hebert, Juanita Connor, and Margery Hebert and one brother, J.E. Connor.
The family would like to thank Maison du Monde Living Center and Heart of Hospice for their kindness.
