The Life of Mott Frederick Palmer Sr.
Funeral services will be held at a 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at St. Mary Catholic Church for Mott Frederick Palmer, Sr., 77, who passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2008 at his residence following a lengthy illness.
Reverend Harold Trahan, Pastor of St. Mary Catholic Church, will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services.
Interment will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park.
Mr. Palmer, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Lafayette, was the son of the late Michael George Palmer and the former Anna Gristina both of New Orleans. He was a Veteran of the United States Army.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Boyne Palmer; three sons, Mott Palmer, Jr., Miles Palmer and his wife, Kim, and Mitchell Palmer; six grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Tuesday from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm and continue on Wednesday from 8:00 am until the time of service.
A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Tuesday in the funeral home.
Delhomme Funeral Home, 1011 Bertrand Drive, Lafayette, is in charge of the arrangements.
