The Life of Kenneth Wayne Bean

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, October 19, 2007 in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Kenneth Wayne Bean, 57, who passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at his residence. Reverend Ron Anson, Associate Pastor of Cornerstone Fellowship, will conduct the funeral services. Interment will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park. Mr. Bean, a native of Orange, Texas and a resident of Church Point, was the son of the late Hershel Bean and the former Jewel Tomlinson. He was a member of Goldwing Road Riders Association. He was the owner/operator of Ken Bean, LLC. He worked offshore for Oryx Energy for 23 years. Survivors include his wife, Nancy M. Bean of Church Point; his mother, Jewel E. Bean of Groves, Texas; son, Mark Bean and wife, Jennifer of Church Point; grandchild, Lydia Grace Bean; and sister, Bobbie Sue Hodgen of Sulphur. He was preceded in death by his father. The family requests that visiting hours be observed Thursday from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and continue Friday from 8:00 am until time of service. Pallbearers will be Mark Bean, Chuck Miller, Rick McDowell, Joe Bernard, Patrick McDonald, and Cody Samm.
