The Life of Mary Leger
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2009 at a 1:00 PM Service in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille for Mary Boutin Leger, 76, who passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 18, 2009 at Southwest Medical Center in Lafayette.Interment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.Deacon Randy Hyde will officiate the services.Survivors include three children; Kenneth Leger and his wife, Cynthia, Debra Landry and her husband, Shannon and Bryan Leger and his wife, Sharon; five grandchildren, Jared Leger, Ian Brannon, Byron Leger, Janie Leger and Cody Leger; five great grandchildren, Jacob Brannon, Bradee Brannon, Ava Brannon, Avery Leger and Nickoles Brannon; four sisters, Lilly Labit, Lena Boutin, Ramona Hebert and Wanda Gary; and one brother, Louis Boutin.She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph A. and Mary Agnes Pourciou Boutin; one granddaughter, Jandy Leger; two sisters, Rose Russell and Theresa Doucet; and four brothers, Alton Joseph, Paul, Walter and Joseph Boutin.A native and lifelong resident of Lafayette, Louisiana, Mrs. Leger was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew her. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.Pallbearers will be Louis Boutin, Sr., Louis Boutin, Jr., John Doucet, Daniel Boutin, Sr., Jared Leger, Byron Leger and Cody Leger.A Rosary will be prayed on Friday, June 19, 2009 at 7:00 PM in Martin & Castille Funeral Home in Lafayette.The family requests that visitation be observed on Friday from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM and will continue on Saturday from 8:00 AM until time of services.Martine & Castille - Lafayette, 337-234-2311
