The Life of Barry Michael Guidry
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 16, 2005 at a 1:00 PM Service in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille for Barry Michael Guidry, age 24, who died Thursday, July 14, 2005 at his residence in Lafayette. Interment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery. Survivors include his mother, Carolyn Mason of Dallas, Texas; his father Glenn M. Guidry and his stepmother, Angela Guidry, of Lafayette; two brothers, Adam Guidry and Devin Guidry, both of Lafayette; one half sister, Rachel Mason of Dallas Texas and his paternal grandparents, Warren and Doris Guidry of Lafayette. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Clifford Ward and the former, Billie Johnson and one step brother, Jeremy Picou. Barry was a native of Dallas, Texas and a resident of Lafayette for most of his life. He was a 2000 graduate of Lafayette High School and a Junior at ULL, studying Business Management. A Wake Service will be held Friday at 6:00 PM in the Martin & Castille Funeral Home. The family requests that visiting hours be observed Friday from 10:00 AM until 9:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM until time of services. Pallbearers are Mark Guidry, Douglas Guidry, Evan Patton, Dieter Gidman, Johnny Verzwyvelt and Todd Harrington.
