The Life of Dorothy Lee Hubbard
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, August 29, 2006 at Lafayette Memorial Park for Dorothy Hubbard, 68, who passed away on August 27, 2006 at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center.
Mrs. Hubbard, the daughter of the late John ''Lee'' Broussard and the former Doris Guillott, was a native of Scott. She was Co-owner of Lafayette Radiator for 35 years. She was an active environmentalist who had a great love for the outdoors, which included sacalait fishing and the love for animals and nature.
Survivors include her best friend and loving husband of 39 years, Stirling Hubbard of Lafayette; numerous nieces and nephews; two brothers, Charles Broussard and Donald Broussard.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation hours were observed on Monday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and will continue on Tuesday from 8:00 am till the time of services.
A rosary was recited on Monday at 6:00 pm in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers.
Memorial contributions may be made in the name of Dorothy Hubbard to the Lafayette Animal Aid, 142 Le Medicin, Carencro, La 70520.
