The Life of Victor Joseph Bonin

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, December 20, 2008 in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Victor Joseph Bonin, 86, who passed away on December 18, 2008 at 4:15 am at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe. Reverend Curtis Mallet, JCL, Pastor of St. Genevieve Catholic Church, will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Interment will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park. Mr. Bonin, a resident of Monroe, was the son of the late Clement Bonin and the former Laura Ransonet both of Iberia Parish. Victor was retired from Patterson Services. He is survived by his sons, Dean Paul Bonin and Todd Joseph Bonin both of Monroe; one daughter, Roxie Bonin Ducharme and her husband, Thomas of Panama City Beach, Florida; his grandsons, Thomas Ducharme, Jr. of Panama City Beach, Florida and Mark Ducharme of Plaquemine; his granddaughters, Rebekah Ducharme Rich of Lafayette and Tiffany Ducharme of Panama City Beach, Florida; and one sister, Laura Belle Crochet of Houma. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Gloria Dugas; and one sister, Mary Lou Bonin. The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of service at Delhomme Funeral Home of Lafayette. Pallbearers will be Thomas Ducharme, Sr., Thomas Ducharme, Jr., Mark Ducharme and Jonathan Rich. Memorial contributions can be made in the name of Victor J.
