The Life of Nettie Foreman
Funeral services will be held at a 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, January 7, 2008 in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Nettie Romero Foreman, 85, who died Thursday, January 3, 2008 at the Lady of the Oaks Nursing Home.
The Very Reverend Msgr. Richard Greene, Episcopal Vicar of the South Region of the Diocese and Pastor of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in New Iberia, will be Celebrant of the Mass and conduct the funeral services.
Interment will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery in Lafayette.
Survivors include three daughters, Sandra Foreman Guidry and her husband, Jimmy, Barbara Foreman Treadway and her husband, Alec, and Mary Foreman Richard and her husband, Dale; her granddaughter, Cindy Guidry Smith and her husband, Percy; their daughter, Haley; her grandson, Jeremiah Treadway; one great-granddaughter, Breanne Nicole Guidry; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Foreman; her grandson, Rickey Guidry; and several brothers and sisters.
The family requests viewing on Sunday from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm and on Monday from 8:00 am until the time of services.
A rosary will be recited at 7:15 pm on Sunday in the Delhomme Bertrand Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Nathan Foreman, Dale Richard, Jeremiah Treadway, Alec Treadway, Melvin Block, and Blackie Ozene.
Delhomme Funeral Home, 1011 Bertrand Drive, Lafayette is in charge of funeral arrangements.
