The Life of Murial Beadle

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2011, at a 1:00 PM Mass of Christian Burial in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille in Lafayette, for Muriel Broussard Beadle, 89, who passed away peacefully on Friday, December 16, 2011 at Magnolia Estates in Lafayette. Interment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park. Reverend Chester Arceneaux, Rector of the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Lafayette, will be the Celebrant of the Funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Lector will be Don Louis Broussard. Jodi Bollich, organist and soloist, will sing "Amazing Grace", "Hail Mary, Gentle Woman", "Be Not Afraid" and "On Eagles' Wings" for the services. Survivors include one son, Kenneth Beadle; four grandchildren, Kathleen Burger, Pamela Stinson, David Beadle and Jonathan Beadle; three great grandchildren, Jack Stinson, Leah Stinson and James Stinson; and one brother, Don Louis Broussard. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph D. Beadle; one son, J. Glenn Beadle; and her parents, F.L. and Euphemie Nini Broussard. Muriel was a native of New Iberia, then married Joseph Beadle on October 31, 1942 and lived in Lafayette ever since. She worked at Southern Bell Phone Co. as an operator and was a homemaker most of her life. She was an excellent mother and was so devoted to her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Beadle, Barry Stinson, Pat Durand, David Beadle, John Broussard and Duane Broussard. The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille's DOWNTOWN Lafayette location on Monday, December 19, 2011 from 3:30 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until time of service.
