The Life of Anita Antoine
Memorial Services will be held Monday, May 1, 2006 at a 11:00 AM Mass in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille for Mrs. Stephen J. Antoine, the former Anita J. Garner,who passed away peacefully at 10:22 PM, Monday, April 24, 2006 at her residence in Lafayette.Reverend Robie Robichaux, JCL, Pastor of St. Mary Catholic Church in Lafayette, will be the Celebrant of the Memorial Mass and will conduct the Memorial services. Musical selections will include an original composition by Kristopher Gee.Survivors include her beloved son, Stephen J. Antoine, Jr.; her brother in law, A. J. Antoine and his wife, Sally and her sister in law, Ann Antoine Boustany; and their families, Angela Livingston, John Livingston, Chuck Garner, Rick and Annette Matte, Brent and Sheila Garner and Morris Garner.She was preceeded in death by her husband, Stephen J. Antoine; her first son, Conrad; one sister, June Livingston; one brother, Charles Garner, Sr. and her brother in law, Francis Boustany, Sr.A native of Cheneyville, Louisiana and resident of Lafayette, for most of her life, Mrs. Antoine was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend to all who knew her. She was a dedicated employee and worked as a Nurse until her retirement. She also was employed with the J.C. Penney Corporation. Mrs. Antoine was a volunteer for RSVP, as she enjoyed helping the community. She will be deeply missed by family and friends. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. McCarron, Dr. Briere, Randy Bond, FPRN, Todd Andrepont, RN, "Aunt" Jenny Henderson, Sylvia Allen, Dr. and Mrs. Sid St. Amant, Jeff and Mandy LeBlanc, Marlaine LaFleur, Gerrie McGovern, and The Wilson Bell Family.A Rosary will be prayed on Monday, May 1, 2006 at 9:30 AM in Martin & Castille Funeral Home in Lafayette.The family requests that visitation be observed on Monday, May 1, 2006 from 9:00 until time of services.Donations may be made in Mrs. Antoine?s name to Hospice of Acadiana 2600 Johnston Street, Suite 200 Lafayette, Louisiana 70503 Martin & Castille Funeral Home, Inc. of Lafayette has been chosen to help with the arrangements.337-234-2311
