The Life of Bruce Jay Stein
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 3, 2007 at a 1:00 PM Mass of Christian Burial in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille for Bruce J. Stein, 58, who passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2007 in the Gwinett Medical Center in Duluth, Georgia.Interment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.Reverend Keith J. DeRouen, Rector of the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist will be the Celebrant of the Funeral Mass and will conduct the Funeral Services. Survivors include his wife of twenty-eight years, Karen Sue Womack Stein of Alpharetta, GA; daughter, Tiffany Nicole Stein and her fiance, Jim Staples, of Monroe, Georgia; one son, Bradley Warren Stein of Alpharetta, Georgia; his mother-in-law, Lucille Womack of Lafayette; his brother- in-law, Aubrey Windstein of Slidell; one sister-in-law, Carol Mann Marcotte and her husband, Simeon of Lafayette; and his nephews and niece, R. Todd Mann and C. Randall Mann, Kirk Windstein and Tracey Windstein. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Blake Anthony Stein; his parents, Bernard Leo Stein and Lillian Sheron Stein; and one sister-in-law, Myrna W. Windstein.A native of Riverdale, New York and resident of Alpharetta, Georgia for over 2 years, Mr. Stein was a loving husband, father, uncle and friend to all who knew him. He was employed as an Operations Manager for C.C.I. in Atlanta, and also a member of St. Bridget Catholic Church in Alpharetta, Georgia. Mr. Stein was an avid collector, and enjoyed collecting comic books and model railroads. He also enjoyed playing golf with his friends. He will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.Pallbearers will be Brad Stein, Jim Staples, Todd Mann, Randy Mann, Kirk Windstein and Greg Linden. Honorary pallbearers will be Simeon Marcotte, Aubrey Windstein, Harvey Maron and Jerry Delaney.The family requests that visitation be observed on Saturday, March 3, 2007 from 12:00 PM until time of services.
