The Life of Nelver Ann Breaux
Funeral Services will be held at a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Nelver Ann Breaux, 74, who passed away on July 18, 2009 at 7:37 am at Meadowbrook Specialty Hospital.
Reverend Michael Keith Landry, Associate Pastor of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services.
Burial will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Breaux, a resident of Lafayette, LA, was the daughter of the late Clifton Joseph Creighton and the former Hyacinth Neveu.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, James Floyd Breaux,Sr.; one son, James Floyd Breaux, Jr. and wife, Joan of Duson, LA; one sister, Ethel Ruth Davis and husband, Herbert of Walker, LA; one brother, Lucius Paul Creighton and wife, Maryann; three grandchildren, Phillip Breaux and wife, Rachelle of Lafayette, LA, Jamie Lee Breaux and wife, Brittany of Duson, LA and Lacy Breaux of Duson; great grandchildren, Samantha Breaux, Dade Breaux and John-Michael Breaux.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Mary Caroline Breaux; two sons, Peter Nicholas Breaux and Donald Ray Breaux, one sister, Hyacinth Jobe; one brother, Clifton Matthew Creighton .
The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Monday, July 20, 2009 from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm and on Tuesday from 9:00 am until the time of services. A rosary will be recited by the St. Pius X Knights of Columbus at 7:00 pm on Monday evening at Delhomme Funeral Home of Lafayette.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Breaux, Jamie Breaux, Lucius Creighton, Cliff Creighton, Joey Davis, Cody Davis and Eric Creighton.
Delhomme Funeral Home, 1011 Bertrand Drive, Lafayette, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
