The Life of Ronald Jeffrey Howton
Funeral services will be held at a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, February 26, 2007 at 10:30 am at Holy Cross Catholic Church for Ronald Jeffrey Howton, 51, who passed away Friday, February 23, 2007 at his residence.
Reverend Floyd Calais, will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services.
Interment will take place in Holy Mary, Mother of God Cemetery.
Mr. Howton, a native of Selma, AL and resident of Lafayette, was the son of the late Bert Howton and the former Mary Corley. He was past treasurer for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. He worked with Iberia Bank in several capacities. He was a past member of the Sertoma Club.
He is survived by one daughter, Leslie Elise Howton of Lafayette; two sons, Robert Fuselier Howton of Baton Rouge, and Brian Daniel Howton of New Orleans; two sisters, Brenda Howton Tilley, and Jane Howton Dumas, both from Selma, AL_; and one brother, Edwin Howton of Meridian, MS.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Deborah Fuselier Howton; and two brothers, Nathan and Daniel Howton.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed Sunday from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm and continue Monday from 8:00 am until time of service.
