The Life of Timothy Joseph Falgout
Funeral Services will be held at a 10:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, April 5, 2010 at St. Pius X Catholic Church for Timothy "Tim" Joseph Falgout, 50, who passed away on March 29, 2010 at 11:08 PM.
Reverend Steve LeBlanc, Pastor of St. Pius X Catholic Church, will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services.
Interment will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Falgout, a resident of Lafayette, LA, is the son of Mel and Bebe Falgout of Lafayette, Louisiana. Tim was involved with the Community of Jesus Crucified. He was involved in the Come Lord Jesus program and was a member of the 4th day committee of the youth Cursillo movement. He was a field angel for Caritas of Birmingham (a community) which spreads devotion to Our Lady.
Tim was modest and humble and served many, many others quietly and faithfully.
He was a devoted son, brother, uncle and friend; a hard worker and faithful employee.
We, the family would like to extend our profound appreciation to Pizza Hut for their kindness in reaching out to our family. We also want to thank everyone who has been so thoughtful and loving. We covet your prayers and ask that you continue to pray.
Even though we know Tim is with Our Lord, he will be missed beyond words. One could never comprehend the lives Tim has touched.
"Come Lord Jesus, come in grace and glory".
He is survived by his parents, two sisters, Lindy Soileau and her husband Charlie of Lafayette, and Susette Hunt and her husband Don of Harrisburg, PA; one brother, Dave Falgout and his wife Mary of Lafayette; nine adoring nieces and nephews.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at St. Pius X Catholic Church on Monday, April 5, 2010 from 9:00 AM until service time. A rosary will be said before the 10:30 Mass. An additional rosary will be recited Sunday, April 4th at 8:00 pm at the Community Jesus Crucified. Pallbearers will be Tim Melancon, Chris Slovacek, Paul Broussard, Jonathan Falgout, Adam Falgout and Jacob Falgout.
