The Life of Joy Faye Primeaux
Funeral Services will be held at a 3:00 pm Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Seton Church for Joy Faye Primeaux, 73, who passed away on September 11, 2010 at 6:30 am at Willis Knighton Medical Center in Bossier City, LA.
Reverend Martin Borcherding, Pastor of St. Elizabeth Seton Church, will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services.
Interment will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Primeaux, a resident of Blanchard, LA, was the daughter of the late Orbid Richard Elmore of Caddo Parish, Louisiana and the former Pearl Burks of Caddo Parish, Louisiana.
She is survived by one son, Michael Primeaux and wife Diane of McKinney, TX; three grandchildren, Courtney Primeaux, Christopher Primeaux, and Cassidy Primeaux; one sister, Mary Younce of Belcher, LA; two brothers, Ronnie Elmore of Shreveport, LA, and Thelbert Elmore of Oil City, LA .
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Oris Primeaux; two sisters, Carolyn Hartline, and Anne Arndt and three brothers, J.R. Elmore, Richard Elmore, and Earl Elmore.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Wednesday from 10:00 am until time of services.
Delhomme Funeral Home, 1011 Bertrand Drive, Lafayette, LA is in charge of funeral arrangements.
