The Life of Inez Cormier
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 19, 2010 in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Inez Judice Cormier, 96, who passed away on June 16, 2010 at 3:34 pm at Lafayette Care Center.
Monsignor Keith J. DeRouen, Pastor of Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, will conduct the funeral services.
Entombment will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Cormier, a resident of Lafayette, LA, was the daughter of the late Dumas Cormier and the former Anaise Dugas both of Loureauville, Louisiana. She was a member of Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist.
She is survived by one daughter, Karen Smith and husband Jimmy of Scott; three sons, Ronald Cormier and wife Barbara of Lafayette, Oneil "Pookie" Cormier and wife Terri of Lafayette and Rodney "T-Boy" Cormier and wife Brenda of Fort Lauderdale, FL; two sisters, Evelyn Lancon of Houston, TX and Eloise Verret of Broussard; one brother, Andrew Judice of Port Neches, TX, twenty grandchildren, thirty-nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Oneil Cormier, one daughter, Sandra O''neill and one son, Lawrence Cormier; four sisters, Leona Landry, Rita Babineaux, Yolande Pitre, and Euline Lancon; two brothers, Alfred "Bean" Judice and Louis "Nago" Judice.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home of Lafayette on Friday from 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm. A rosary will be recited on Friday evening at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Saturday from 8:00 am until the time of services.

Pallbearers will be Ronald Cormier, Oneil Cormier, Rodney Cormier, Ronald Cormier, Jr., Todd Cormier and Cody Cormier.
Delhomme Funeral Home, 1011 Bertrand Drive, Lafayette, LA, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
