The Life of Annie Mae Fewell

Funeral Services for Mrs. Tom Fewell, the former Annie Mae Addison, 84, will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at First Baptist Church of Broussard with Rev. Tom Fewell officiating. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Friday, March 20, 2009 from 4:00PM until 9:00PM. Visitation will resume at First Baptist Church of Broussard on Saturday, March 21, 2009 from 9:00AM until the time of the services celebrating her life. Interment will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery. A Native of Lake Charles and a resident of Calvert City, KY, Mrs. Fewell died at 1:05AM on Monday, March 16, 2009 in Paducah, KY. She was a long time resident of Broussard, and a charter and active member of First Baptist Church of Broussard, enjoyed creating crafts by crocheting and cross stitching, and was a member of a home demonstrating club. She is survived by three sons, Tommy Louis Fewell of Pineville, Claude Rae Fewell of Broussard, and James Lee Fewell of New Orleans; three daughters, Jannie Virginia Fountain of Calvert City, KY, Gay Ann Tate of Praireville, and Bonny Darlene Elliott of Pineville; a sister, Josie Seagraves of Munster, IN; seventeen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Fewell; her parents, Lewis and Jannie Vigo Addison; and a sister, Evelyn Addison. Serving as pallbearers will be her six grandsons, Patrick Fewell, Jason Fewell, Robbie Fewell, Joshua Fewell, Thomas Elliott, and Nathan Elliott. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Anthony Baker, Matthew Fountain, Eric Fountain, and Jake Fountain. The family has requested that donations be made in her memory to the Louisiana Baptist Children''s Home in Monroe at P.O. Box 4196 Monroe, LA 71211. David Funeral Home of Lafayette at 316 Youngsville Hwy (337)837-9887 will be handling the arrangements .
