She will truly be missed by all who were blessed to know and love her. Her compassion and generosity has touched so many lives over her long and beautiful life. ''Momma'' always had something cooking on the stove, a handmade outfit for her children, and a small joke to brighten a bad day. ''Friend'' always had her baked cookies, kind word, frequent visits and simple prayers for those in needs. ''Gramma'' had homemade waffles, root beer floats and cookies, drawers & cabinets full of toys, and most of all a recital of the rosary for every grandchild heading into a major exam. Even in her later years, she was constantly caring for those around her. Her smile lit the room. Her famous words were ''I''m still here'', and she still is, in the hearts of all those she has touched. Survivors include her two daughters, Jean Guidry Butaud and her husband, Dr. Steve Butaud and Julie Guidry Brenham and her husband, Robert Brenham; one son, Edward Guidry; nine grandchildren, Kimberly Butaud Gardner, Meagan Guidry, Brian Brenham, Ginger Brenham Pelletier, Nicole Butaud Strother, Jared Brenham, Jason Brenham, Clark Guidry and Sean Guidry; nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
