The Life of Wendell Hamilton Trest
Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 am for Wendell Hamilton Trest, at Northwoods United Methodist Church in Lafayette, La on Tuesday, April 17, 2007.
Mr. Trest, a loving husband and father, left this earth on April 11, 2007, to join God after a lengthy illness.
Wendell was preceded in death by his first wife, Neddie Edith Graham, and his parents. He is survived by his second wife, Louise Long Trest; his brother, Warren; his sister, Sandra and his two sons, (Lt. Col. Ret.) Warner Neil Trest, Warren Graham Trest, and their loving wives who adored their father-in-law. Additionally, Wendell Hamilton had three step children, Richard, Pattie, and Jennifer by marriage to his current wife, Louise Long Trest, as well as six adored grandchildren from this relationship. All will sorely miss their adored Wendell. Although our earthly hearts are broken, we know since we won''t see him again in this lifetime, we will see him in the next.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Northwoods United Methodist Church, 4530 Moss Street, Lafayette, La 70507.
