The Life of Wilson Lantier
John Wilson Lantier was born in Scott, La. He married Mary Grace Jackson with whom he had 2 children-Mary Alice Lantier Melancon and Kirk John Lantier. Wilson was survived by his wife, Grace and the Daughter and Son in Law, Mary Alice Melancon and Charles Melancon. He also is survived by their 2 children, Lori Melancon and Ross Melancon. Wilson is also survived by his son Kirk John Lantier. Several brothers and sisters as well as his father also survive him. Wilson enjoyed the time he spent with his grandchildren. His grandchildren remember spending the night with Wilson and Grace and watching the “Barbara Mandrell Show” with them.

Wilson Lantier was my father. Daddy loved his family and would do anything for them. He especially loved his grandchildren, Lori Melancon and Ross Melancon. Of course he loved my mother, Mary Grace Lantier.
Daddy served in the Navy/Marines during World War II and received a Purple Heart for injuries received at Iwo Jima.
Daddy was a humble man who was always willing to serve and to give to others.
I miss him so much and think of him daily.
