The Life of Mrs. Mildred Louise Boyd
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at Lafayette Memorial Park for Mildred Louise Boyd, 84, who passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2008 at her residence.
Dr. Perry Sanders, Pastor Emeritus of First Baptist Church of Lafayette, will conduct the graveside services.
Interment will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park.
Mrs. Boyd was a resident of Lafayette and a member of First Baptist Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Linda Kay Eggleston; one son, Paul Roger Boyd and his wife, Cheryl; one daughter-in-law, Juanita Boyd; and five grandchildren, Aaron Carola, Carrie L. Eggleston, Rochelle Boyd, Steven Boyd and Amanda Holcomb.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul Leonard Boyd; one son, Richard E. Boyd; and two grandsons, Nathan Paul Carola and Michael S. Thomson.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Tuesday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Delhomme Funeral Home in Lafayette.
