The Life of Ione McManis
Funeral services will be held Saturday November 5, 2006 at 11:00 AM in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Ione Ford McManis, 84, who passed away Tuesday November 1, 2006 at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Reverend Perry Sanders, Pastor Emeritus of First Baptist Church will conduct the funeral services.
Interment will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park.
Ms. McManis, a native of Lafayette, was the daughter of the late John Edward Ford and the former Yetta Schrader both of DeRidder, Louisiana. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She was retired from Dresser Industries.
Survivors include one son, Kenneth McManis of Youngsville; two grandchildren, Patrick McManis, and Kelly McManis; two great grandchildren, True McManis, and Aria McManis; one brother, B. Edward Ford of Henderson, Tennessee; and one sister-in-law, Della Piat Ford of Lafayette.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, William Edward Ford.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed Friday from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM and continue Saturday from 9:00 AM until time of service.
