The Life of Hal Ray Bierschwale

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, November 3, 2006 at Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery for Hal Ray Bierschwale, 71, who passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2006 at St. Martin Hospital in Breaux Bridge, La. Rev. Chris Kopp, Pastor of Church Without Walls in Lafayette will officiate at the Graveside services. Mr. Bierschwale, the son of the late Fred Bierschwale and the former Alice Stovall, was a native of Harper, TX and a resident of Butte La Rose. He was an avid fisherman. He will be missed by all who knew him. Even though he was retired, he still worked with several directional drilling companies in the area. Survivors include three daughters, Lynn Bierschwale of Broussard, Donna Bierschwale of Broussard and Karen Bierschwale of Butte La Rose; seven grandchildren, Christina, Ella, Amber, Ryan, Daniel, Sarah and Erin; four great-grandchildren, Solomon, Jonas, Asa and Anthony; one sister, Bonnie Shore and one brother, Paul Gene Bierschwale. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Iva Jean Bierschwale and one son, Michael Bierschwale. Personal condolences may be sent to the Bierschwale family at www.delhommefuneralhome.com.
