The Life of Pearl LeBlanc
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2007, at an 11:00 AM Service in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille in Lafayette, for Pearl Latiolais LeBlanc, 93, who passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 8, 2007 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.Interment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park. Reverend Keith J. DeRouen, Rector of Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Lafayette, will be the Celebrant of the Funeral Mass. Lector will be Sandra LeBlanc Grant. Karen Broussard, organist and soloist, will sing "On Eagle''s Wings", "Ave Maria" and "Be Not Afraid" for the services.Survivors include three daughters, Winona Bernard and Melanie LeBlanc of Lafayette and Sandra Grant of Grapevine, TX; one son, Aubrey "Buddy" LeBlanc, Jr. of Lafayette; one sister, Lucille Castille of Breaux Bridge; one brother, Burney Latiolais of Breaux Bridge; four grandchildren, Daniel Bernard, Andrew Knickerbocker, Brittany Schaeffer and Grant LeBlanc; and four great grandchildren, A.J. Knickerbocker, Tyler Knickerbocker, Emma Schaeffer and Thomas Schaeffer.She was preceded in death by her husband Aubrey LeBlanc, Sr.; parents, Alfred and Lucille Latiolais; one brother, Daniel Latiolais and one sister Hazel Begnaud.A native of Breaux Bridge and a resident of Lafayette for the past 18 years, Pearl LeBlanc was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be dearly missed by her family and friends and all who knew her.Pallbearers will be Daniel Bernard, Andrew Knickerbocker, Grant LeBlanc, Wayne Grant, Nolan Begnaud and B.J. Latiolais.A Rosary will be prayed Monday, December 10, 2007 at 7:00 PM in Martin & Castille Funeral Home. The family requests that visitation be observed on Monday from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday from 8:00 AM until time of services at Martin & Castille Funeral Home.
