The Life of Willie O'Neal Burgamy

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 12, 2007 at 11:00 AM in David Funeral Home Chapel in Lafayette, for Mr. Willie O'Neal "Loving" Burgamy, 85. He was born in Lone Oak, Texas on December 20, 1921 and went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at 7:08 PM at his daughters residence, in Broussard, La. Mr. Burgamy was a member of First Baptist Church in Broussard, he was a Mason. He loved his dogs "Precious" and "Prissy", and loved to play golf. The Rev.Wallace Millsaps will conduct the services with burial to follow at Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery. He is survived by his three daughters; Linda Garner and her husband Malcolm of Baker, La.; Deborah Roberts and her husband Johnny of Youngsville, La.; Darlene Adams and her husband Stan of Broussard, La.;one sister, Beth Hyepock of Oklahoma. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Burgamy, and his parents, Puervis L. Burgamy and Jewell Griffin Burgamy. Pallbearers will be Jules Broussard, Benny Adams, Kirk Bourque, Neal Pierret, Derek White, Troy Schexnayder, and Bryan Broussard. The family requests visitation will be observed from 4:00PM until 9:00PM, Thursday, January 11, 2007 and will resume on Friday from 8:00AM until the time of service.
