The Life of LeRoy Picard
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for LeRoy Picard, 90, who passed away on January 10, 2010 at 10:33PM at River Oaks Retirement Manor.
Deacon Randy Hyde of St. Edmond Catholic Church will conduct the funeral services.
Burial will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Picard, a resident of Lafayette was the son of the late Rene Picard and the former Alice Smith. LeRoy was employed by Ralphs Electronics where he retired. He was a member of the American Legion, Post 69. Mr. Picard was a U. S. Army veteran.
He is survived by one son, Roy Lee Picard and wife, Elaine; one daughter in law, Alicia Picard; two step sons, Rusty Romero and wife Jude and Rocky Romero; grandchildren, Charles Picard and wife Shannon, Robert Picard, Damon Picard, Randi Picard, Michael Picard and wife Gabby, Darrell Picard and wife Patrice; step grandchildren, April and husband, Austin, Wendy and husband, Tim, Annette and Ross; great grandchildren, Logan Picard, Chelsea Picard, Etienne Picard, Lori Picard, Issac Picard, Marcus Picard, Nicholas Picard; step great grandchildren, Samantha and Rory .
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Evelyn H. Picard; second wife, Juanita R. Picard and one son, Rene Picard.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm and will continue on Wednesday from 9:00 am until time of service.
A rosary will be recited on Tuesday at 7:00 pm. at Delhomme Funeral Home of Lafayette.

Pallbearers will be Charles Picard, Robert Picard, Damon Picard, Michael Picard, Darrell Picard and Ross Romero.
Honorary pallbears will be Roy Lee Picard, Rusty Romero and Rocky Romero.
Delhomme Funeral Home, 1011 Bertrand Drive,Lafayette, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
