The Life of Joyce Comeaux
Funeral services will be held at a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am on Friday, December 19, 2008 in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Joyce Credeur Comeaux, 78, who passed away on December 16, 2008 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.
Reverend John DeLeeuw will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services.
Burial will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park.
Mrs. Comeaux, a resident of Lafayette, LA, was the daughter of the late Ulysee Credeur and the former Aurelia Broussard. She was a member of St. Jules Church .
She is survived by sons, Howard Richard and his wife Barbara of Cankton, Douglas Richard and his wife Cheryl of Kountz,TX, Terry J. Comeaux and his wife Vicky of Carencro, Mitchell L. Comeaux of Houston, TX and David Keith Comeaux of Lafayette; twelve grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren..
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, James Russell Comeaux.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Thursday, December 18, 2008 from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm with a rosary to be recited at 7:00pm in the funeral home. Visitation will continue from 8:00 am Friday until service time at Delhomme Funeral Home of Lafayette.
Pallbearers will be Howard Richard, Douglas Richard, Terry Comeaux, Mithchell Comeaux, David Comeaux and Ryan Comeaux.
Delhomme Funeral Home, 1011 Bertrand Drive, Lafayette, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
