The Life of John Harry Domingue
A mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday June 6, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Theresa Church in Duson for John Harry Domingue. The Fr. Vu will officiate the mass. Burial to follow at Holy Mary Mother of God Cemetery in Lafayette. Mr. Domingue was born December 2, 1924 and died June 3, 2009. He is survived by one sister Mrs. Loney "Polly" Hebert, two sons Anthony and his wife Renee, James and his wife Connie, two daughters Lucy Jumonville and her husband Steve, Frances Arsement and her husband Mark. Eleven grandchildren Benjamin Domingue and his wife Dana, Alyshia Domingue, Taylor Domingue, Jessica Provan and her husband Chris, Lindsey Guidry and her husband Canean, Marcy Jumonville, Nicholas Jumonville and his wife Shannon, Shawn Jumonville, Natalie Jumonville, Candace Arsement, Chris Arsement. 11 great grand children and two step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Mina Lagneaux Domingue, two children Lewis and Jacqueline Domingue and his parents, Ignace and Rosella Domingue, four brothers and five sisters. John never met a stranger he didn't treat as a friend, was a retired teacher and considered all his students as his children. The family would like to thank Our Lady of Lourdes nursing staff and Hospice of Acadiana, Inc.
