The Life of Milton C. Berryman
Milton C. Berryman, 80, of Topton, died Sunday, February 25, 2018, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the widower of Darlene F. (Schadler) Berryman who died June 13, 2013. Born in Red Hill, Montgomery County, he was a son of the late Milton S. Berryman and Bessie (Bower) Gracely. Milton was employed as a custodian for East Penn Manufacturing Company, Lyon Station, for many years until his retirement in 2008. Milton enjoyed stock car races, Philadelphia sports and playing pool.
Milton is survived by daughters, Tracie L. (Berryman), wife of Michael D. Milbut, Oley, and Doretta K. (Berryman), wife of Richard A. Hein, Topton. Other survivors include a sister, Helen Berryman; brothers, Jimmy Berryman, Trexlertown and Henry Berryman, Eastover, NC. There are also five grandchildren, Steven S. Hein, Jeffrey M. Milbut, Christina L. Hein, Shannon M. (Hein) wife of Justin E. Hoch, Sr., and Kara L. Milbut. There is also a great grandson, Justin E. Hoch, Jr. Milton was predeceased by a sister Ann (Berryman) Herman, a brother, William Berryman, and great grandchildren, Annabelle M. Hein and Mark A. Weaver.
A funeral service to celebrate Milton's life will be held Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, with Reverend Alton R. Zentner officiating. Interment will follow in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Fleetwood. Relatives and friends are invited to call Saturday, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.

Remembering Milton
When my mom started dialysis in Kutztown, we always saw Milton in the morning when she had her sessions. He was always very friendly and upbeat, even on the days when you knew he wasn't feeling so well. Even though we only knew him from dialysis, he was such a great guy to talk to on occasion. My family and I offer our prayers and condolences to the family at this time. We will miss him dearly...

Conversations
What I will miss the most were those days I would walk the five doors down and sit on "the bench" with Milt and talk about the Phillies. The conversation would then drift into memories the "days" and how much the world had changed. Listening to Milt was a wonderful experience. To hear him speak and laugh about so many subjects never once with a negative point of view or even a detrimental fluctuation in his voice concerning anyone or anything left me with a much lighter heart and a better understanding of how life should be lived. Although those talks have come to an end the memories and enlivenment of those conversations shall always stay with me. I will miss you Milt. I'm sure your dancing and cutting a rug with Darlene now. Pop-pop
This is one of the hardest times. Pop-pop you were always a happy, loving and caring man. You always made everyone laugh and you were always there for your family. Pop we had some good memories that I will never forget. The day I told you that you were ganna be a great grandpop. you were happy eveytime i brought in your great grandson to see you. Jr will miss you and he loves you also. the day that I asked you if you want to be in my wedding and you said yes. Pop I miss and love you a lot. Please give nana, meme and pappy a hug.
