Horsing around

The first time I met you was on a Sunday morning my father's only day off from work. I was maybe 17 yrs old as I remember Vermonica was just a very little girl. Dad and I met you and Harry at their home in Huff's Church and we all went to Fry's barn to see some Thoroughbred horses. I remember you explaining that this type of horse was very high strung and to be careful. I remember thinking you were so tall like my brother Randy, unlike my Dad. I also thought David looked like you and sadly the next time I saw you was his funeral

Best Gosh Darn Cousin I Ever Had!!!!!

One of the reasons I moved back home from Florida....missed Davey. Cousin Dave was like a big brother to me. I always admired and looked up to him. Loved our phone calls the whole time I lived in Florida. And enjoyed our chats on the porch here even more. One of the PROS on MY PRO and CON list of moving back home or staying in Florida for me was to be with my cousin Dave. I am so glad we had the time together we had, and am sad at losing him. I am happy for his reunion he must be having right now with his loved ones who went on ahead of him. I will really miss his ...... "oh yay".......such a great guy , cousin and friend to me.
