The Life of Beverly Cecile Bernard
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, October 16, 2017 in
Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Beverly Cecile Bernard, 91, who
passed away on October 13, 2017.
Reverend Gilbert Dutel, Pastor of St. Edmonds Church, will conduct the funeral services.
Burial will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
Beverly, a resident of Lafayette, was the daughter of the late Rene Landry and the former Louise Landry.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 68 years, Harold Bernard, Sr.; two children, Harold Paul Bernard, Jr. and Reneé Bernard Abshire and two grandchildren, Nicholas Paul Abshire and Allison Abshire Daigle.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Robert Landry, Sr., Howard Landry, Sr. and Farrell Landry.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home - Bertrand on Sunday, October 15, 2017 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00PM on Sunday evening in the funeral home. Visiting hours will continue on Monday from 8:00AM until the time of service.
Pallbearers will be Robert Landry, Jr., Howard Landry, Jr., Earl Lattier, Layne Lattier, Drew Daigle and Nicholas Abshire.
The family would like to thank Roxanne Gros Richoux, Mary Ann Kirk, staff of Hospice of Acadiana and Dr. Gary Guidry and his staff for their compassionate care.
