The Life of Anna Belle Bonnet
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 6, 2017 at
the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 2:00PM for
Mrs. Anna Belle Bonnet, 96, who passed away on October 4, 2017 at
11:15pm at the St. Joseph Carpenter House.
Rev. Patrick Broussard, Associate Pastor of the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral service.
Burial will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
Ms. Anna Belle, a resident of Lafayette, was the daughter of the late Hypolite Breaux and the former Anita Louviere. She retired from the Lafayette Public Library System after 25 years. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking, sewing, reading, and baking on Friday for her family. Ms. Anna Belle was a devout Catholic and was a parishioner and volunteer at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother and will be missed dearly.
She is survived by her two daughters, Susan Adele James and husband Bob, Barbara Ann Boudreaux; grandchildren, Allison Hebert and husband Jamie, Julie Bacon and husband Jude, Tracy Perry and husband Chris, Robby Boudreaux, Jennifer Trahan and husband Eric; great grandchildren, Joshua Hebert, Adele Hebert, Brittany Bacon, Brett Bacon, Brittany Perry, Christopher Perry, Jeremy Perry, Megan Perry, Addie Trahan; and great great grandson, Connor.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Robert Bonnet; parents; siblings, Clarence Breaux, Howard Breaux and Donald Breaux.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home - Bertrand on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 10:00AM until the time of service.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Hebert, Jude Bacon, Chris Perry, Eric Trahan, Robby Boudreaux and Joshua Hebert.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to Brookdale Assisted Living, LGMC and the St. Joseph Carpenter House for the care and compassion given to Mrs. Bonnet.
In lieu of flowers, donation in Mrs. Bonnet''s honor can be made to the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
