The Life of Naomi McMinn Moore
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 25, 2017, at 2:00 PM
in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille in Lafayette for Naomi H. McMinn
Moore, age 99, who died on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Lafayette
General Medical Center.
Interment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park.
Reverend Susan Ferguson, Associate Pastor of Asbury United Methodist, will conduct the funeral services.
Survivors include her daughter, Charlotte McMinn LeBlanc and her husband, Mike of Lafayette; one son, John McMinn and his wife, Roseanne of Lafayette; four grandchildren, Vicki McMinn Delhomme and her husband, Danny, Sherry McMinn, Todd Robertson and Mark Robertson and his wife, Nicole, all of Lafayette; five great grandchildren, Brandon Burleigh, Lauryn Burleigh, Cameron Delhomme, Trevor Robertson and Hailey Robertson; two step daughters, Nancy M. Crandell and Jeanie M. Cannon and all of the Moore family.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, John McMinn, Sr., second husband, Lowell Moore; parents, John Thomas Huckabay and Elizabeth Murphy Huckabay; two step sons, Ricky Moore and Ray Moore; one sister and three brothers.
A resident of Lafayette, Louisiana for most of her life, she was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to all. Naomi was a graduate of S.L.I and was a social worker for Louisiana Department of Public Welfare. She was a very devoted member of First United Methodist Church of Lafayette.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Burleigh, Cameron Delhomme, Danny Delhomme, Todd Robertson, Mark Robertson, Trevor Robertson and Brandon Moore.
The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille''s DOWNTOWN
location on Monday from 10:00 AM until time of service at 2:00 PM.
A heartfelt appreciation is extended by the Moore family to her caregiver, Margaret Guilbeau of Broussard for her devoted service.
