The Life of Betty Joyce Comeaux
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at 11:00
AM in Martin & Castille''s La Fleur de Lis Chapel in Lafayette, for
Betty Joyce Comeaux, Age 87, who passed away Saturday afternoon,
September 16, 2017 at Maison de Lafayette, with family members at her
side.
Interment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park.
Reverend A. Rex Broussard, Jr., Pastor of St. Basil Catholic Church in Duson, will conduct the funeral services. Chad Louis Clark will provide music for the service.
To cherish her memory are her children, Debbie J. Broussard, and Daniel J. Broussard and wife, Barbara of Scott; her grandchildren, Chad Louis Clark, Dana Marie Clark, and Rebecca Broussard; her great grandchildren, Derick Clark, and Jada Floyd; her great great granddaughter,Sophia Rae Clark; her niece, Angela Rae Comeaux; her nephew, Todd Comeaux; her Godchild, Eunice Marie Primeaux; her cousins, D''ella Foreman and Delores Salvo; her aunt, Florine Suire and her uncle Dalton Comeaux; and many extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her former husband, Rex Broussard; her son, Donald Joseph Broussard; her parents, Tite John and Euphamie Montet Comeaux; and her brother, Charles Glenn Comeaux.
Born in Welsh, Louisiana on March 13, 1930 and a resident of Leroy, Louisiana for most of her life, Betty Joyce Comeaux was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved traveling, good food and quality time with friends and family. Betty was kind-hearted, loyal and generous. She was an exceptional mother, always making sure there was a delicious meal for dinner. Betty was a simple, sweet woman and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Honored to serve as Pallbearers will be Chad Louis Clark, Derick Michael Clark, Todd Comeaux, Sonny Gros, Breelan McCoy, and Brian McCoy.
Honorary Pallbearer will be Angela Rae Comeaux.
The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille''s SOUTHSIDE location on Tuesday from 8:00 AM until time of service.
