The Life of Carol Elaine Wallace

Carol Elaine (Beane) Wallace, 74, of Kutztown, PA, passed away quietly on September 6, 2017, at her home. She was the loving wife of Peter H. Wallace, whom she married in 1992.

Born in Gibbstown, N.J., and was the daughter of the late Scott and Esther Beane. After her graduation from Merchantville High School, N.J., Carol received her BFA from Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia, PA, where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa.  Then received a MFA from Kutztown University, Kutztown, PA. As an Art Teacher in Mass, Carol began a brief teaching career. Later she became a co-director at the Senior Citizens Center in Allentown, PA. She was very active in The Society of the Arts (SOTA) in Allentown, for many years and served as the Docent Chair and Board Member. Her interests were making dried flower arrangements, gardening, reading, and her four grandchildren.

Carol is survived by her Husband, Peter, her Sister, Ronnie, her two Children, Laura Armstrong and Scott Hooper, and Laura's four children, Carol's grandchildren.
