The Life of Russell M Neff

Russell M. “Fuzzy” Neff, 72, of Kutztown, passed away on Monday, September 4, 2017. He was the loving husband of Cindy L. (Angstadt) Neff, whom he married on February 14, 1986.

Born in Kutztown, Russell was a son of the late Russell M. A. Neff and Marian A. (Klingaman) Neff. Russell was a 1962 graduate of Somerset Area High School, Somerset, PA, and was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Bowers. Fuzzy was a dedicated and long-time truck driver for many years, working in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. A Mason, Russell was a member of the Rajah Shrine, Reading. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Kutztown Rod and Gun Club and the Kutztown Fire Company. His true passion was street rods. Fuzzy and his wife, Cindy, enjoyed their time together and were proud owners of their 1935 Chevrolet Master sedan, which they rebuilt from the ground up. He was also an active participant and the #1 card holder of the Wheels of Time S.R.A., Macungie, and was a member of The National Street Rod Association.

In addition to his Wife of 31 years and caregiver, Cindy, Russell is survived by a Step-Daughter, Erica L. Snyder, Kutztown; 2 Sisters, Susan D. Meitzler, Kempton, and Diane F. Neff, Allentown; 2 Step-Sisters, Elizabeth Coatsworth, Yardley, PA, and Dolores Hall, PA. He is also survived by 2 Grandchildren, Jonathan Lemay and Elena Snyder; and a Niece, Britt Meitzler. Fuzzy was predeceased by his Parents; a Brother, Barry F. Neff; and a Step-Sister, Carol.

A memorial service to celebrate Russell’s life will be held privately at a future date.

The family requests that contributions be made in Fuzzy’s memory to Hope Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 88, Bowers, PA  19511-0088. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.

Sorry to hear of your loss. Fuzzy was a great friend to me always took the time to talk to us and ask about Jimmy. RIP Fuzzy you will be missed.
