The Life of Wanda Louise Boyd
Funeral
services will be held on Friday, June 9, 2017, at 2:00 PM in Martin
& Castille''s La Fleur de Lis Chapel in Lafayette for Wanda Louise
Chupp Boyd, age 86, who died at 4:36 AM on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at
her residence in Lafayette.
Interment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pastor Jonathan Moore will officiate the service.
Survivors include her son, Danny Ray Boyd and wife Lynette Fiorello Boyd; two grandsons, Adam Wayne Boyd and Philip John Badali; three great-grandchildren, Madison Elizabeth Boyd, Mason Phillip Boyd, and Jaxon Damiano Badali; one sister, Carolyn Jackson; several nieces and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Otis Chupp and Lona Cardwell Chupp; and her husband, Phillip Adams Boyd.
A resident of Nocona, Texas for the majority of her life, Wanda resided in Lafayette for the past 11 years. She enjoyed social gatherings with her friends and family, always with a vibrant spirit. Her laughter and humor brought smiles to everyone around her. If you ever met Wanda, you would not forget her!
Pallbearers will be Danny Boyd, Adam Boyd, Philip Badali, Mike DeHart, Joe Billy Desormeaux, and Mike Vigre.
Honorary pallbearers will be Rodney Roscoe Boyd and Douglas Kramer.
The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille''s SOUTHSIDE location on Friday from 10:30 AM until time of the service.
In lieu of customary remembrances, those preferring memorial contributions may send them in Wanda Boyd''s memory to Animal Rescue Foundation of Louisiana, www.arfla.org .
