The Life of Marion M Tyson

Marion M. (Reimert) Tyson, 87, of Fleetwood, passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 in Kutztown Manor, Inc., where she has been a patient since February. She was the widow of Allen E. Tyson, who died on April 23, 1999.

Born in Greenwich Township, Marion was a daughter of the late Lloyd E.A., Sr., and Marion I. (Kurtz) Reimert. She was a member of Christ (Mertz) Lutheran Church, Dryville, and a graduate of Kutztown Area High School. Marion worked as a packer at Tarsus Senior Center, Fleetwood, for 15 years. She was also a homemaker.

Marion is survived by her Children, Dolores A. (Tyson) Moyer, Stony Run, Nancy M. (Tyson) Althouse, Shoemakersville, Merlene J. (Tyson) Oswald, Fleetwood, Robert A. Tyson, Trexlertown, David G. Tyson, Lyon Station, Thomas E. Tyson, Reading; 8 Grandchildren, Sue, Christine, Erica, Phillip, Ted, Jennie, Rachel and Brian; 10 Great-Grandchildren, Harlee, Logan, Jonathan, Elena, Deanna, Alyse, Kylie, Chandra, Devon and Rhapsody; and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren. She is also survived by Sisters, Mildred E. (Reimert) Herman, Allentown, Mary O. (Reimert) Oliver, Roswell, GA; and Brother, Stanley A. Reimert, Key West, Florida. Marion was predeceased by her Parents; Husband; and a Son, Richard C. Tyson in 1967; Brothers, Lloyd Reimert, Jr., and Francis J. Reimert.

Services for Marion will be private at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
