The Life of Patti L. Hidalgo
A Memorial Mass was held on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 1:00 PM in
Martin & Castille''s La Fleur de Lis Chapel in Lafayette for Patti L.
Pharo, age 60, who died at 3:15 PM on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Our
Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.
Inurnment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Reverend Steve LeBlanc, Pastor of St. Pius X Catholic Church in Lafayette was the Celebrant of the Memorial Mass and conducted the Funeral Services. Lectors were Adrian Simm (God Son) and Daniel Pharo (Nephew). Giftbearers were Paula Simm (Sister) and Dr. Wayne Pharo (Brother). Karen Broussard, organist, sang for the services, " On Eagles'' Wings", "Psalm 23", "Ave Maria", "The Lord''s Prayer" and "The Prayer".
Survivors include a son, Justin Freeman and his wife, Brook; a daughter Jennifer H. Bourque and her husband Joseph; three grandchildren, Isabella and Madden Freeman and Kai Bourque; one sister, Paula Simm and her husband Dr. Mike and a brother, Dr. Wayne Pharo and his wife Monica and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph S. Pharo and the former Mary Helen Hannie and a sister in law, Cathy Milek Pharo.
Patti was born on June 14, 1956 and was a lifelong resident of Lafayette, Louisiana. She was a graduate of Our Lady of Fatima High School and attended LSU. Patti was always very welcoming, always opening her door to others. She loved her cocker spaniels, Kenzie and Kane. Patti will be missed by her family and friends.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Justin Freeman, Joseph Bourque, Dr. Mike Simm, Adrian Simm, Alex Simm, Andrew Simm, Dr. Wayne Pharo, Dr. Austin Pharo and Daniel Pharo.
The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille''s SOUTHSIDE location on Thursday from 12:00 PM until time of service.
