CARENCRO ~ Funeral services will be held Friday, April 28, 2017 at a 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church for Brent Joseph Boudreaux, age 58, who passed away Sunday, April 23, 2017 in Carencro.

Interment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park. The Rev. Gary Schexnayder, pastor of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, will officiate at the services.

Musical selections will be provided by Charlotte Jagneaux, accompanied by Phyllis Simar on the organ. The songs will be On Eagle''s Wings, Ave Maria, One Bread, One Body and Hail Mary, Gentle Woman.

Mr. Boudreaux was a native of Lafayette and a resident of Carencro for the past twenty years where he was the owner and operator of Boud''s Garage for the past ten years. He was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church. Mr. Boudreaux enjoyed fishing and was a member of Bass Masters. He was a valued member of the community and would go out of his way to help anyone in need.

Survivors include his devoted wife of thirty years, Teri Cheever Boudreaux; two daughters, Cristi Richard and her lifelong companion, Josh Lajaunie, and Tiffany Brasseaux; his mother, Mary Lou Morel Boudreaux; three brothers, Jude Boudreaux and his wife, Janet, Gary Boudreaux and his wife, Robin, and David Boudreaux; two sisters, Paula Daigle and Peggy Boyd and her husband, Tom; four grandchildren, Bobby Dwyer, Kailie Richard, Maddox Boudreaux and Braxton Lajaunie; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Victor Boudreaux.

A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home by Thomas Boyd.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 12:00 noon until 10:00 p.m. Thursday and will continue from 8:00 a.m. until service time on Friday.

Pallbearers will be Bryce Martel, Gary Boudreaux, Jude Boudreaux, David Boudreaux, Ryan Boyd and Jordan Boyd. Honorary pallbearers will be Maddox Boudreaux and Braxton Lajaunie.
