The Life of Joseph Claurice Broussard
Funeral Services will be held at a 1:00PM on Monday, March 27, 2017 in
Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Mr. Joseph "Joe" C. Broussard, 79,
who passed away on March 25, 2017 at 6:56am at his home.
Deacon Cody Miller will be the Celebrant and will conduct the funeral service.
Burial will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Joe, a resident of Lafayette, was the son of the late Gilbert Broussard and the former Cecilia Broussard.
He is survived by friend and companion, Edith Benton; two daughters, Linda Broussard and husband David, Barbara Landry and husband Jacques; three grandsons, Nicholas Broussard and wife Sheila, Brandon McGough, and Shane Broussard and companion Keiva; one great grandson, Wyatt Broussard; and brother, Andrus Broussard and wife Sue.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ed Broussard, Mack Broussard, John Broussard, George Broussard; sisters, Effie Devillier, Mary Louise Landry, and Lucille Benton.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home - Bertrand on Monday, March 27, 2017 from 9:00AM until the time of service.
Pallbearers will be David Broussard, Jacques Landry, and Shane Broussard.
The family would like to thank his caregiver, Ms. Rachel, Acadian Hospice, and especially nurse Blanche Smith for their care and compassion.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Broussard''s honor be made to Acadian Hospice.
